Meet our Cardinal
Our club aircraft is a 1977 Cessna 177B Cardinal (C-GWVP) a stable, comfortable, and highly capable platform for both local flying and cross-country trips.
Known for its excellent visibility, forgiving handling, and spacious cabin, the Cardinal is a favourite among pilots looking for a step up from basic trainers while still keeping operating costs reasonable.
How the Aircraft Share Works
To join the Cardinal there is a yearly $500 buy-in for your share of the aircraft.
Then select from one of two payment options:
- Option A – Buy 12 hours up front at $235 wet – after 12 hours ongoing rental at $150 wet.
- Option B – Pay as you go rental at $235 wet – after 15 hours ongoing rental at $150 wet.
Pilot Requirements
A minimum of a Private Pilot License (PPL) is required. All pilots must complete a checkout flight with our instructor before flying solo. You must submit your aviation booklet and medical before joining.
