Meet our Cardinal
Our club aircraft is a 1977 Cessna 177B Cardinal (C-GWVP) a stable, comfortable, and highly capable platform for both local flying and cross-country trips.
Known for its excellent visibility, forgiving handling, and spacious cabin, the Cardinal is a favourite among pilots looking for a step up from basic trainers while still keeping operating costs reasonable.
How the Aircraft Share Works
Becoming a member of the Cardinal is straightforward:
- $500 buy-in for your share of the aircraft
- Annual fee: $2,250 + GST (includes 12 hours of flight time)
- Maintenance contribution: $500 per year
Once your included 12 hours are used, additional time is billed at:
- $225 per-hour wet rate
Pilot Requirements
A minimum of a Private Pilot License (PPL) is required. All pilots must complete a checkout flight with our instructor before flying solo
