Limited shade is available under aircraft wings and tents.

Will the airshow be televised?
Not that we know of, although we hope that there may be some reporting during and afterwards through Shaw Cable.
Will there be any provisions for the physically handicapped?
The airport is convenient and accessible. We’ll keep areas around the gate free to drop-off.
Are coolers permitted?
Yes
Are cameras and video recorders allowed?
Yes
Are pets allowed?
No, for safety reasons we will not allow pets through the gates
Can I bring an umbrella?
Yes
Can I bring a bike, roller blades or a scooter?
Yes, but these cannot be used past the gate.
Can I bring beverages into the show?
Yes, bring whatever refreshments will make you comfortable for the day.
Where do I park?
It would be best to park away from the airport and walk. There will be a passenger drop-off area by the main gate.
How much will parking cost?
There will be no cost for parking around the airport, unless city metered parking is used closer into downtown.
Is there a handicapped parking area at the air show?
It will be difficult to guarantee adequate handicapped parking close to the main gate. But we will ensure a convenient drop-opp area.
Can I park a recreational vehicle in the parking lot?
There will not be much room for RV parking around the airport. We suggest that local campgrounds be used.
Are there shuttle rides to and from the parking lots?
There will be no designated parking lots. Mostly street parking as available.
Can I bring a lawn chair or blanket?
Yes
How do I get to the airshow?
Once in Nelson, you can try for a parking space along airport area roads. But best to park away from the airport and walk or be dropped off.
Is there public transportation available to the show site?
To within a couple of blocks of the airport.
